Analysis of 5G Network Speeds

Based on the “Public Networks and Operators: GAMBoD Database Snapshot” report by GSA, a study was conducted to analyze the speed of 5G networks. The analysis of this report reveals the following insights:

– Out of 56 countries, only 24 have an average high download speed of 5G, making up approximately 40% of the countries in the study.

– Only 12 out of 56 countries have a high average 5G download speed and high availability.

– In all 56 countries, the availability of a 5G connection does not exceed 50%.

Note: the Availability (% of the time)* is the proportion of time Opensignal users with a 5G device and 5G subscription had an active connection.
